Acoustic Guy and I went out of tune due to issues which I don’t want to expound. I sent him a text message yesterday morning asking him if we could be just friends and no more pet names. I know this is sad for the both of us, yet I don’t want to pursue a new relationship for which lack of trust and inequality will make us suffer. We were both trying, but we’ve tried not enough. For the record, we were just an item, but not a couple.
I don’t know where I am now. Should I be happy because I have my absolute freedom again? Or should I be weeping that a might-have-been relationship was put to waste?
Oh well…

One of the things I’m looking forward on your website is about you and acoustic guy, so sad to know that you were “out of tune”. But let me tell you this the situation that hurt you in the past can’t continue to hurt you now – unless you hold on to the pain through resentment.. Your past is past, nothing will change it. You are only hurting yourself with your animosity of the situation.. for your own sake, learn from it and then let it go.
It is a waste of time to puzzle where you are right now. Instead move on!

What really concerns me now is not the pseudo break-up, but I might want to be single and don’t want to commit, again… like my post “I Am Changing”. Sigh.
It is a good thing Mj that you are aware of what you are feeling right now. You only have two options; be the person who you were before or welcome and face the new you today.
Either of the two you need to have a break. Take time to know your priorities and take the first step of change. Remember that in every option you choose there’s an opportunity that waits. Cheers up!
