That was my phone before I destroyed it. Yes. At first, I’m having difficulty pressing the navi keys and cancel button. I guess that was because I’m the type of person who sweats a lot, and sometimes I don’t use my headset. So my salty juices might be penetrating the mechanism of the phone underneath the keypad. I decided to disassemble it, get a hair blower, trying to dry the keypad circuit board. I put it back together, and then it worked! I was so happy then. But after a few minutes, the twisting of the camera won’t work anymore. Oh my. So again, I take it to pieces. But this time, while trying to figure out what’s wrong, I accidentally cut off the ribbon that connects the upper and lower flip! Sigh. I’m a certified mobile phone killer.
I went to Greenhills to ask how much it will cost me to repair it. Gosh! P4,000! For me, it doesn’t make sense anymore. I decided to sell it to the technician instead. I got P4,500 from him. It’s time to buy a new one.
Get creative with the Nokia 3230 smartphone. Edit your raw video clips into slick, customized “muvees” complete with soundtrack, using the pre-installed software; then share your masterpieces with your friends. Create your own ringing tones, print your mobile images, play multiplayer games over a wireless Bluetooth connection, and browse HTML and xHTML Web pages. Plus, with a 32 MB MMC card and expandable memory, you’ll have lots of space to be creative. (www.nokia.com.ph)
This is my new phone, Nokia 3230 with 128mb memory card. I bought it from my bestfriend Francis. I have a clearer camera now, 1.3 megapixel compared to VGA on Nokia 6260.
Now, I’ve learned my lesson. I may be a computer technician but definitely not a mobile phone technician.
