martingonzales.com has a new face!

Friday, November 24th, 2006

Early this morning, I just launched the new design for my blogsite named martingonzales.com v.2 “angel”. I intentionally conceptualized this design to be sorta queer site. So there we have it, showing the gay flag colors and two beefy guy angels. For any good or violent reactions, just post a comment. Hehe.

Photo Stealer blocked!

Monday, December 19th, 2005

Yes, at last. Joel Donato Jacob, the Content Manager of Fabuloush.com, replied to my complaint against “jamirchua”. But for security purposes, he will be needing to verify my identity first before making any action. Thus, he is requesting if I can meet him in person, or have a scheduled webcam. So be it. I borrowed our office’s webcam, and let him see my face in motion. With just a couple of minutes, my pictures on jamirchua’s account were already blocked. Thanks Joel!

Thou shall not steal someone else’s picture!

Thursday, December 8th, 2005

Fabuloush.com is the newest and Philippine based GLBT community site. I created an account last November 22, 2005. But just after 3 days, someone stole my picture and use it in his profile. The account’s name is “jamirchua”. Some people I personally know frequently see him logged in to Fab Chat. If you happen to see or chat with jamirchua online, it’s not me talking. All my authentic community profiles are listed here in my blog.

A Sudden Glimpse Behind The Doors

Saturday, August 27th, 2005

After work.

Leaned back. Relaxed. Took a deep breath. Surfed to the max! Haha! Since it’s only Day 3 of Pinoy Big Brother, I visit their official website regularly. Click here, Click there. Read the forums and posted some. Then there’s a Video section where you can watch the live stream. Unfortunately, it’s not for free. You have to subscribe first to ABS-CBN NOW service, which will cost you a lot. Sigh. Anyway, I still tried. Oh my! It did get through without paying! Free!!! Vench, Ma’am Ace, and I stayed in the office and watched the live stream until 9:00PM. Haha! PBB Addicts! So we went home and watch PBB Primetime Episode on television.

Next morning. I woke up. Excited to watch the live stream at the office again. But no, when i tried to get through, it now prompts for the license to view the stream (Windows Media Player, Digital Rights Management or DRM). Sigh. It was just a sudden glimpse behind Big Brother’s doors.

A Certified Mobile Phone Killer

Nokia 6260: My Old PhoneThe Nokia 6260 is so flexible in function and design that it adapts accordingly to your every need. Not only does it help you take charge of your life, it makes it easier and more rewarding with the multi-mode display and features. Open it to make a call, check your emails and view attachments. Twist it to capture those very special moments and send them to loved ones. Or simply fold it with the display facing up for Internet browsing or accessing applications. No matter which mode it is in, the flexible Nokia 6260 adapts perfectly to match every move you make in your life. (www.nokia.com.ph)

That was my phone before I destroyed it. Yes. At first, I’m having difficulty pressing the navi keys and cancel button. I guess that was because I’m the type of person who sweats a lot, and sometimes I don’t use my headset. So my salty juices might be penetrating the mechanism of the phone underneath the keypad. I decided to disassemble it, get a hair blower, trying to dry the keypad circuit board. I put it back together, and then it worked! I was so happy then. But after a few minutes, the twisting of the camera won’t work anymore. Oh my. So again, I take it to pieces. But this time, while trying to figure out what’s wrong, I accidentally cut off the ribbon that connects the upper and lower flip! Sigh. I’m a certified mobile phone killer.

I went to Greenhills to ask how much it will cost me to repair it. Gosh! P4,000! For me, it doesn’t make sense anymore. I decided to sell it to the technician instead. I got P4,500 from him. It’s time to buy a new one.

Nokia 3230: My New PhoneGet creative with the Nokia 3230 smartphone. Edit your raw video clips into slick, customized “muvees” complete with soundtrack, using the pre-installed software; then share your masterpieces with your friends. Create your own ringing tones, print your mobile images, play multiplayer games over a wireless Bluetooth connection, and browse HTML and xHTML Web pages. Plus, with a 32 MB MMC card and expandable memory, you’ll have lots of space to be creative. (www.nokia.com.ph)

This is my new phone, Nokia 3230 with 128mb memory card. I bought it from my bestfriend Francis. I have a clearer camera now, 1.3 megapixel compared to VGA on Nokia 6260.

Now, I’ve learned my lesson. I may be a computer technician but definitely not a mobile phone technician.
